Facebook is making an update to the instant articles feature that allows publishers to include the CTA (call to action) unit in their articles so that they can connect better with the readers, Including those readers that are interested to sign up and like the page. Facebook also announced that it is testing other versions of the update for the publishers that are interested in the offer of free trails for users of the subscription of their services through app or online subscription.
The CTA will be available for users from next week and will be created through “a simple , self service creation flow “ and also can monitor the conversations through a tracking dashboard.
The important thing here is that the CTA will let the users share their email address directly with the publisher on Facebook so that the users can access the services or the other email updates the publisher can offer. The advantage Facebook has that it already has the email of the users with them so the process becomes a lot easier for the users and the publishers. According to Facebook “it is also testing other units , the free trials and mobile app installs with a small group of publishers and partners”.
