WordPress has said on it’s blog that it has launched a new add-on Google Web store that lets the users to use the Google docs to edit and publish their content before saving it on the word press site or publishing it there.
This add-on is handy for bloggers and writers that rely on the famous content management system for content publishing but use third-party content editors just to make sure that they don’t loose the work they have done out of some unexpected error which is a mini heart attack of sorts.
This translates into no more copy and paste headaches for the bloggers anymore since all the formatting from Google docs by default will apply to copy in WordPress but most of all the exciting feature of this is that your colleagues can edit the bits of the content at the same time and you can track the changes in real time.
Feature is available for the WordPress.com blog alongside any WordPress.org website that is equipped with the JetPack Plugin. All that needs to be done is to authorize the add-on with the access of your blog by signing up to the WordPress account.
WordPress integration also has a side bar to keep a track of all your collaborators working on the content. After the draft has been saved the add-on will generate a preview link for you so that you can check how the saved work will appear once published.
